CORD

Safety

Hang out without the hassle.

CORD gives you control over who reaches you and what you see, and gives every server the tools to keep its community the way it wants.

Your account

Lock down your account

Add two-factor authentication with an authenticator app, sign in with a passkey, save recovery codes, and sign out devices you don't recognize.

Decide who reaches you

Choose who can send you friend requests and whether server members can DM you. Messages from people who aren't your friends wait in Message Requests.

Control what people see

Keep your About Me, pronouns and custom status to friends only or just yourself. Streamer Mode hides personal details while you're live.

Block and report

Blocked people can't message you or send friend requests. Report a message, a person or a server from its menu and our team reviews it.

Your server

AutoMod

Stop blocked words, mention spam, links, invites and message floods before anyone sees them, alert your moderators, and time people out automatically.

Verification and rules

Require a verified email or a minimum account age before people can talk, and have new members accept your rules first.

Raid protection

A sudden wave of joins alerts your moderators and can pause invites until things calm down.

Timeouts, kicks and bans

Give moderators exactly the permissions they need. Every action lands in the audit log so the whole team can see what happened.

Age-restricted channels

Servers mark channels with mature content as age-restricted. Nobody sees inside until they confirm they're 18 or older.

Account Standing

If your account breaks the Community Guidelines, you'll see why under Account Standing in Privacy & Safety settings, and you can appeal a decision you think was a mistake.

Your data

Download a copy of your account and messages, or disable or delete your account, from your settings. Read how we handle data in our Privacy Policy.

If someone is in danger

Contact your local emergency services first, then report it so we can act on our side.
